I have an old Panasonic AG-460 which is a 2 chip S-VHS with a nice big
lens. When I use it as the front end, and take the S-Video output from
it and record to my cheap digital camcorder, the quality is greately
improved. If the camera section is better quality and you use the
S-video, you should get good results.
