your the one that started the traffic debate! You posted that yahoo was
the #1 in traffic on 11-16-2005 and 6:45pm. The message in part...

>Its a short term effort and small sacrifice for a HUGE pay off.
>Ebay makes billions off sellers and continues to raise our fees.

>Yahoo is the # 1 site for traffic and has integrated Yahoo Auctions

Your assertion that Yahoo is #1 in traffic does not square with the trade
mags I read so I responded. Justin challenged and that was about it. Quite
insignificant compared to the 25plus messages of yours that say the same
exact thing, "EBAY is evil, Yahoo is great." Typical liberal BS, hate the
big guy because he is good at what he does.

Talking DVD sales is fine, spamming about how yahoo is the greatest thing is
just that, Spam! The funny thing is that I've said twice that I have
nothing against yahoo but that ebay has proved that they are better at
capitilism which is proven simply by the number of people that use them.
Amazing you did respond to those posts, I suspect because, on some level,
you know its true. If yahoo was so fabulous then people would be leaving in
droves, including me. I've tried to use them. My friend tried to use them.
Both failed. My friend but a $1200 bicycle on there that was brand new for
$750. It sat for almost 3 months, no sale. He put it on ebay and it went
for $827 in 7 days. Yes he had to pay fees but everyday the item doesn't
sell is money out of your pocket. You want 3 months worth of money out of
your pocket or 7 days?

You are right about one thing though. This whole mess has gotten to be way
off topic. But it hasn't been a waste of time. I've learned a couple
interesting things. 1. Ebay is a extremely successful business, capitalism
has served it well. 2. Yahoo is a successful business that has some great
services and features but their auctions are much less successful. and
finally 3. Argueing with trolls on the internet is an incredible waste of
time and intelligence, especially since most of them are children (or act
like such) with little knowledge and unlimited amounts of free time.

So heres what I'll do with this off topic thread. I'll apologize to those
time that this thread has wasted! I'm sorry to everyone for letting this
topic get out of hand, for feeding the troll as it were!! Also, to help end
this thread, I hope, I won't post any further in this thread. I invite
Justin to do the same. How bout it justin, lets not feed the troll. And
finally so75 is going into the ignore list so I'm not tempted to respond,
again, justin I invite you to do the same.
