Note that more than just the quality of the first-generation
picture was accounted for in the rankings. 1" looked great
when it was running properly, but you practically needed
a tech on the staff to keep them running optimally. DV is
orders of magnitude beyond 1". Consider also that a 6th
"generation" DV is just as good as the 1st.
