This one alone proves that it is not a PC.

It may use a PC CPU, and may be PC like, but it is NOT a PC.
All the hooks are the same due to the chipset and cpu combo, but it
is most certainly being used for and as a front end for hardware
control (the interface), it also is used for the "network connection
required" part of a DVD's extra features. That being the online
related items included on a lot of DVDs, and ingeniously, for the
network connectivity/upgrade/maintenance routines. Also all hardware
related.
That, and only that. If I can't do my E-mail on it, it is NOT a PC.
