It will not work that way. Two reasons are:
1. The drive does not have an analog video output which you would need to
connect to a composite input on the TV or to feed a RF modulator.
2. You would have no way to control the drive (start playing, fast
forward, etc.).
The only way you would use this drive to play on a TV would be to connect
it to a PC that has a video card with TV output and software to control
it. You would be better off to buy an inexpensive standalone player.
