Reply to can't autofill from a podcast smart playlist to iPod Shuffle

Subject line says it all. I have a smart playlist that stores
Podcasts. When I attempt to Autofill with this playlist, my iPod
Shuffle is drained of podcasts which I previously put onto it manually.
Any ideas? Thanks.
