OK I got it, I right clicked on the creative folder for properties and unchecked
"read only", then W showed a progress indicator, the icons flinched and so forth.

Didn't work. The file was still 256k even though I changed the setting to 128k...

Then I trid it with WMP and it did it to 128k and superb sounding, file half the
size as well, which is what I'm after. Except the sound quality is like "over-
enhanced" to their (M$) version of sounding better, which is what I'm not after,
and no way to change that in WMP.
