This is a public beta though, it is functionally complete. Any differences
between this and the final release, would be limited to bug fixes etc. It is
the OS itself and the thinking that lies behind it which is irritating.

If I wanted irritating, slow, on the rails, long winding ways of doing
things, with poor compatibility, I would have bought an Apple Mac.

Give me XP with a new service pack.
