Which is why the mainstream media has lost most of its credibility.
It is indistinguishable from entertainment, and in several cases, the
once-credible "news" operation is now run by the "entertainment"
management. Ipso facto.
When all is said and done, the fact remains that if Ms. Bell had used
a close synonym like "stingy", the meeting would have not even
made it into the news and we would have never heard of her. The
media just reinforced mass illiteracy and took "Political Correctness"
to its absurd conclusion. IMHO, the MSM has abdicated any positive
contribution it may have had to society in the past.
