Thanks everyone for your help and persistence. I must have had a write
error. I tried it again just using the software in XP to burn. I can
select between folders and select each song in a folder and they play
well. I do not really need any additional software.

Another question is that before I returned Nero 7 (not for the problem
above) the software talked about 'multi-session' CDs. Nero 6 is on the
way. Will it allow me to add folders to a RW CD with more songs?
