You obviously do not understand my use. I am quite well aware that an
AVI is a wrapper. I use it as shorthand for AVI/DivX and AVI/XviD,
like most people.

Not really. I was using a shorthand notation. I am not anywhere near
as pedantic as you.

>( And what the heck is "1/2 CD resolution"?)

I am very surprised you do not know what that means. It's used quite
commonly, like in AGK.

It means "half of a CD disk". In case you don't know, the conventional
CD has space for 700 MB. The newer ones are slightly larger. Therefore
"1/2 CD" means the space of 350 MB.

One method of specifying resolution is to state the space for a
certain length segment, like 42 minute episodes. If you had
comprehended my last paragraph you would have realized that I included
that in the specification. FYI, a 42 min. episode that fits 350 MB is
nominally 1,000 kbits per second for 720 frame width.
