No, lucky. Some will, some won't, and even if they do play odds are
you're getting far more dropouts than in SP mode.

Because the difference in alignment is too much for the camera to
handle.

You're free to continue recording LP if you like, but not to complain
when you can't play it back. Even my camera's manual said that that LP
recording probably wouldn't play on any other camera.

The difficulty of playing LP tapes on different cameras is a fact. If
you want to ignore facts, that's your problem.
