I was of the category, seeing is believing, so I tried LP, but honestly,
not the thing to do for pro-work. Too risky. Just look at DVCAM with it's
higher tape-speed. It's done for a reason: reliabilty.
If someone wnats to take a risk of using LP, there own choice, but you
better spent a few dollars more on an extra tape, than half a day on
reshooting something you missed because of a few drop-outs because you shot
LP.
My opnion, take it, or leave it :-)
