Hi Alan,

Thx for your quick reply.
I don't think this has anything to do with a region code, I tried all on the
remote, but the "!" does not disappear.
It only does, when the setup menu is displayed, and re-appears when left.
I tried to lookup a firmwire and how to flash, but was not able to find any
source.
I've got the service manual, but there is not mention of this matter.
They do mention the test remote, but I am afraid that's not delivered with
the machine.

Any further help or suggestions are appreciated.
