Do you have the full retail version of Nero, or just the bundled version
that came with the drive? If you only have the bundled edition I'd be
surprised if it will work at all!

I replaced a faulty CD-R on a previous machine and the bundled version of
Nero (same version) would only work if I re-installed the s/w from the disk
that came with the replacement drive.
