It doesn't have English subs at the request of those who have purchased
the rights to distribute the movie in cinemas and on DVD in English
speaking countries. The same situation appeared to afflict the latest
Tony Jaa epic, except they didn't bank on the Koreans who offer a Thai
language version with English subs.

There was a bit in Screen International a while ago with distributors
bemaoning the fact that those films they have bought, and are sitting
on the shelves, were freely available through the post. I think one even
said selling these to punters outwith their designated DVD region was
tantamount to piracy!
