Oscar nominee, Queen Latifah ( Beauty Shop, Barbershop 2 Scary Movie 3),
plays shy cookware sales assistant Georgia Byrd who is advised "Enjoy
yourself. It's later than you think" when she is told she has less than a
month to live. Faced with the possibility of no tomorrow, Georgia sets off
on the holiday of her dreams, with the intention to spice up her bland life
and enjoy each day as if it really is her last!
The beautiful and historical European city of Prague provides a brilliant
backdrop as Georgia sets out on a glamorous spa break to revamp her looks,
her moves and her life in general! Her mission - to ditch the dullness of
her life and try all the things she has ever wanted to, whether it be
hitting the ski slopes or sampling fine cuisine!
LL Cool J ( Charlie's Angels, Any Given Sunday) plays the dashing suitor
waiting for Georgia back at home, who is determined that she will not slip
away. With a superb and comic cast including Grard Depardieu ( Green Card,
My Father the Hero), Timothy Hutton ( Sunshine State), Alicia Witt ( Vanilla
Sky, Playing Mona Lisa) and Giancarlo Esposito ( Derailed), Last Holiday is
a heart-warming gem of a film and guarantees to get you laughing!
