Which is why I'm going to wait as long as possible before buying a HD set.
I came close once, but decided to wait a while longer - then I find out
about this whole HDMI 1.3 silliness that won't even start shipping on sets
until later this year. Not to mention the fact that no one seems to be
able to give a straight answer about how the whole DRM/ICT flag thing is
supposed to work.
None of this is going to help convince folks to upgrade to HD or HD
movies... I wish the industry would realize they've gone beyond cutting
off their nose to spite their face here. At this rate, they won't have
any face left to spite!
