I think that you are "ultra dreaming".

HD DVD as well as 1080i OR p video is 6x better than DVD is.

At this juncture, there is no point making it any better.

The costs of manufacture of FPDs is high enough already, and so is
the resolution.

Have fun now... not that it matters... this format (HDTV) will be
around for at least a couple decades... likely longer.

Ultra indeed. Sheesh.
