We've had stupider movies made on Disney Channel.
We just haven't had them mainstream-marketed with such near-psychotic
zeal just because they got a couple lucky cable-ratings numbers, is all.

(As to why it was made, however, Kenny Ortega still owed them another
picture after "Newsies", and already had a three-cheap-cable-quickies
deal with the network.)
