Hi - I'm a newbie to this MB... am looking to identify the title & the
artist of a few songs which, I believe, are from the 1980s. Thought
this NG may be able to help in my searching efforts??

OK... back in the 1980s my sister participated in Jacki Sorenson's
aerobic dancing classes. She also (gasp!) brought along her cassette
tape recorder, to capture the instructor's shouted cues to the dance
steps, and also caught the background music to the songs used by the
instructor in the class.

Of the few songs I am unable to identify, I was able to save the music
"snippets" as .mp3 files.

Question I have is this: any possibility I might be able to post
these couple of mp3s to a NG or such (?), in hopes that some 1980s
music "expert" out there may more easily identify the titles and the
artists for me? Or, are there any other suggestions out there --
especially since some of the lyrics are very vague and hard to listen
to (understandable, in light of tapes being 20 years old!! LOL) Any
ideas out there? I'm open to ideas & would appreciate replies to this
msg, since I don't have ready access to my email as much.

Anyone?
