I used both computer drives and normal DVD players.
DVD Info Pro will detect the manufacturers information for the disk but nothing
else, even Data rescue packages will not detect the DVD data burned 6 weeks
ago!
Doing slightly more thorough tests now and with DVD-R and RW as well.
