Reply to MP3 player that can be plugged in?

I need an audio source for the "Music On Hold" feature of our phone system,
and I thought a cheap MP3 player would be the answer. The problem, as it
turns out, is power. I just want something cheap that I can "set it and
forget it"; I don't want to swap batteries every day, and I don't want
something clunky or jury-rigged, like a power supply with bare wires that
attach to the battery terminals. The only features I need are MP3 playback,
repeat, a 1/8 stereo output, and a way to plug it in. I've even shopped
around to see if anyone makes a "dummy" battery adaptor, with a DC p/s on
one end and a battery-shaped power interface on the other end. No luck.

Any ideas? I just want an inexpensive, flash-based MP3 player (no electric
motor or moving parts to wear out!) that can be made to run off wall current
without having to invent a custom p/s for it.

Thanks,

Bryan
