tell them you'll cut their hands off if they touch anything! we've lost
more than one audio when talent messed with switches and as one put it "hey,
i been in this business before you were a kid so i know what i'm doing." and
swears that his mic was on when we isolated his channel and then he checked
and said, "aw, i guess it got turned off somehow." hmmmmm :o(
break a few fingers for touching switches and they leave them alone. or
better yet, do what we did for the client named above, go to Shure SM11
wired lavalier. they're a little bulky in size (only slightly without the
muffle compared to the other with the muffle) but there are NO switches and
we have all the wired control so no interferences :o)
