Really? How so? You have one player launching (Samsung), but several
others on the way. Many people, including myself, are waiting for the
Sony models.

Sales of HDDVD are way slow, Toshiba is losing money on each sale of a
player, there is no sign Disney or Sony or the other major studios are
realeasing movies in HDDVD (so,you buy the player just for its looks,
no content?).

I'd say that HD-DVD is definitely on the way out.
