If they are already in mp3 format, I would process them in the following
way:

1) Open Windows Explorer and create a folder on the HD where the copied mp3s
will reside (for this example, we'll call it 'new mp3s'.
2) With the DVD in the drive, navigate to the folder 'new mp3s' where the
mp3s are.
3) select (highlight) the mp3s you want to copy to the HD
4) Drag the selected files on the DVD to the 'new mp3s' folder on the HD
('Drag'=position mouse pointer over selected files, press and hold left
mouse button while moving files to 'new mp3s', once over the folder, release
the left mouse button).
5) Open iTunes
6) Select (highlight) all the files in 'new mp3s'.
7) Drag them into the iTunes window.

The mp3s should now show up in iTunes.
