Of course I was indeed referring to his withdrawal from public life and
the loss of a creative talent and his last 35 years being a sad
testament, not his death itself.
Having said that, had he not over indulged in LSD etc, he probably
wouldn't have become a recluse and would almost certainly have had
better health care. I'm sure Dave and Roger pay for the best medical
attention and anything like diabetes can be detected early and managed
well enough that the would expect to die from it so (relatively) young.
look at the queen mum and see what the best medical professionals can
do, she was 101 or something
