I've been looking around the message boards for a while for the answer
to this question, but all the threads I see are from 2002-2005.

We've got a Cox DVR (I think they only have one model, if not, I've got
the silver one they are advertizing now, if that gives you any hint on
my hardware know how) I'm a softare junky but don't ask me anything
about hardware. I know you can record stuff from the DVR to VHS, but
has anyone stumbled on a way to record shows previously recorded onto
DVD?

Please reply in laymans terms, I've seen a lot of stuff with Y and P
and Ps and technical jargon. I'd really appreciate something like "you
need this DVD recorder and these cables" if you can :) Thanks!
