The trouble with a term like "politically correct" is that it means
different things to different people.
It was a useful insult against the left because they often recognized
its accuracy and knew it conflicted against their values.
But while it is technically accurate to use it as an insult against
the right, and the right has had a long history of saying that the
feds should not dictate how they think - they don't seem to recognize
the insult as such when applied to them.
Certainly _The Passion of the Christ_ is only "correct" for a minority
that usually aren't accused of being politically correct.
