Clearly you cannot see that it isn't really about the money.

If I had made a painting and you wanted to sell modified copies, or
any copies of it, I could sue you for it. Not about the money. MORE
about you filching my work.

If I want to change it and sell a second, changed release of my
work, I can.

Got Clue? Just because the work is that of literally hundreds of
folks working collectively doesn't mean that someone stealing the work
for their own purpose isn't going to be felt the same way a painter
would feel having someone else copy his works.
