Really? If I recall correctly, that's a bit of a change from the
Philip K. Dick novel.
(Mind you, the novel was one of the most pointless and boring bits
of sf/fantasy that I've ever read thins side of Kurt Vonnegut and
my eyes were pretty heavily glazed over by the time I got to the
endpiece, so I may be misremembering.)
