And also as "Swept Away" was actually more of a class-system allegory,
back when proto-Marxist "Eat the rich" proletariat issues were a
particularly big deal in 70's Italy.
Anybody who's looking too hard for gender or sexual messages will
probably be looking too hard, too wishfully, or, to paraphase Mark
Twain, be shot.
