Reply to Quick way to change [first last] to [last, first] in filenames?

I'm trying to rename a lot of music files, converting the artist name
from [first last] format to [last, first], so I can retag the files
accordingly and catalog them that way. This is reasonably easy with
albums for a single artist, but it gets really tedious for albums with
various artists. Is there a quick way to do this?

I'd love to be able to select the artist's last name in the filename
and hit a button or a keyboard shortcut to move that last name to the
beginning of the filename, followed by ", ". Having the option to
automatically treat the last word in the filename as the last name
would be great, though of course that wouldn't be true in all cases.

So is there software to do this, or can you set up a macro in Windows
Explorer? If there's a better place to ask the question, please point
me there.

Thanks,
Drew
