The ZU is based on obsolete chipset and the F/W is very different from
the MU series. The MU is superceded by the MU1 units. 5.38 is
superceded by 5.40.

So, if you want the latests and greatest, do what I recommended above.
It just takes a few minutes to root thru the boxes at W-M to find the
right one.

I see that Best Buy has the CyberHome CH 1600, which is the same as
the ILO DVDR05, on sale for $99. I wonder if that is clearance of the
old units. The CH 1600 also has ZU and MU units.

CyberHome appears to be willing to adopt new chipsets when it things
there will be an improvement. Thus far that has been the case. The MU
is a decided improvement over the ZU. I am still evaluating the MU1.
However, I believe newer firmware will be needed to take advantage of
the newer MU1 hardware.
