I recently got a 30gb iPod video. I have been looking extensively for
a dock that I can use in the car for it that will power/charge it, as
well as allow me to hook the audio up to the stereo through and RCA
style cable as my head unit has an input on the back of it. I do not
want a dock that has an FM modulator as I have never been happy with
the audio quality of those. I don't want to get one of those iPod
connection kits for my stereo either as the one that is available for
my stereo has limited functionality. I would rather have a dock that I
can attach to the dash/console with screws or Velcro or vent mount or
whatever and I'll just control the iPod directly. Is anyone aware of a
dock like this, or am I going to have to rig up my own.
