Electronic thermometer in my office said it was 38 degrees C at four
o'clock this afternoon. Only reached 37 yesterday. Having said that, in
a former life I was a marine engineer and it regularly topped over
40 in the engine room when in the Red Sea or the Gulf, so this doesn't
feel so bad to me.
