I had a samsung cd player and a tdk cd/dvd recorder, but the recorder
would not record dvd-rw so I got a sony 820a. I took out the samsung
cd, and put in the sony with the tdk. It worked fine for awhile then
the tdk quit working, drqwer stayed out and when I closed it it keep
opening and would not stay shut.

Tried all configurations of setting both recorders up with master and
slave, but keep getting a message that cd was found,,,,,,,could not
install, can not find file. Tried it with just the sony and still got
the same message.

I remember there was a media update on windows update so I downloaded
it and everything is working fine now. What ever it was fixed it.
