i use a conia m90 - the cheapest + & - dvd recorder i could find, since
i'm downunder, i wouldn't know where to send you topside - other than to
say the cheapest is going to do exactly the same as the most expensive.
ah. digital....
workflow:
either client originated dv (mini and cam), or my own material is
transferred via composite out with tc on screen. any decent dv camera
will do this, as does my dsr11 or pd170.
client does whatever he does viewing on tv or pc, or mac and sends paper cut
i edit, send tc'd dvd of cut, open to change via tc
final cut if needed.
take the money
thank god i don't have to worry about this business any more :-}
