Yeah, i read this and I said to myself, why are they still making
essentially window dubs to beta, and burning the heads on an endangered
species beta deck, instead of to cheap VHS or DVD-R on a stand-alone
recorder? Any decent DV-25 capable deck has a monitor-out with timecode
overlay on it already, you just plug the output cable into any cheap
recorder and make a live realtime transfer of the window dub.
