Was just thinking about all this thread discussion and wondering if this
were a possibility?

1. Set the camera up to run continuous time code and not reset every time a
new tape is put in.
2. Set the output to a cheapie VHS with it's tape time code set to display
and record
3. Put the first tape in each machine and reset the counters to "0"
4 Try to start the recorders about the same time as the cameras (might be
off a second or two)

And wha lah wouldn't I have a window screening tape of what was on the
miniDV tapes and close on timecode?
