How fast can the card be offloaded? e.g. firewire (I-link) maxes out at
400 gbps, 10/100 ethernet at 100 mbps, but most disk drives max out at
40mbps and DV25 records of course at 25 mbps.

I'll bet the flash drive will offload at 30-35 mbps.
