Yeah stunning PQ, can't wait to get a proper HD source, DVD,
HD-Freeview etc.
The people on forums I read who mention image retention tend to have
had Cebeebies, Sky or Xbox on excessively early on in the TV's life. It
fades over time and there are ways to speed up the fading if needed.
The only image retention I had was when I stupidly left my
DVD/Netplayer options menu on screen with the disc tray open which
meant that the screen saver on the DVD player didn't kick in. This was
for about 3 hours. I tuned the TV off and I could still see it on the
screen, I was so annoyed but then it was unnoticable by the next day
when watching TV; I really had to look hard for it and then I forgot
about it and next time I looked it was gone. This happened after my
200 hour run in period and maybe that was what made it dissapear
quicker.

I have the table top stand (non-swivel) as it sits on an Ikea AV unit.
