Crank? Never used one of those. Still prefer a rotary dial though. Got
one packed away until I build my office. I'll need an adapter, it has a big
four prong plug.

Silly fellow...I already know they are tiny things. With a mouth piece that
winds up on one's cheek just east (or west, depending) of the ear lobe.

Why carry either one around? Unless you are a salesman. I can see a
salesman wanting to carry a phone around. If he works on commission. If he
gets a salary, dump the damned thing.

And every bell & whistle enables them to add to the already inflated price.
Like TVs...I'll be watching a TV with a 3:4 screen ratio until I die. If it
was good enough for 35mm film it is good enough for me.
