remember duplicated and replicated aren't the same. a lot think these are
the same. duplicated is a burned copy from an original like via a dvd
burner or dvd burner drive, while replicated is produced outside the disc
and pressed between two plastic like sleeves. the biggest difference is in
appearance and longivity. the burned dvd will show a burned quantity on the
disc while the replciated will not. moreover, the burned is said to last
10-20 years while the replicated (pressed) is said to be one's lifetime . .
at least that's what some websites are claiming. is it true? dunno. i do
both and our experience states that unless you need 500 copies or more OR
need to make sure this lasts a lifetime, stay with burned.
