It seems to me that all DivX players are trial and error, I've had 4
different ones and each have had 1 synching problem or another.
Depending on how the file is coded and whether or not the player has the
relevant firmware, and whether that firmware can be updated or not.
The best option people with recommend is a modified Xbox running XBMC,
easily worth the money and you get a rather nice little games console as a
bonus :)

I notice Argos are selling a Bush Divx player for 30, worth a punt if it is
covered by the 16-day return.
