Hi again,
You still might want to consider a simple 4XPIP.
Let's say this clip is going to last ten seconds (of course, it could
be any length, and could be a series of clips of various lengths).
Set up each image for ten (or whatever) seconds and make it go through
whatever Pan and Zoom, flips, hops, jumps, etc. that you want it to
have in the final. Now render your image to a DV AVI, which "sets" it
to a standard size video clip of ten seconds duration.
Import your four rendered image videos and stack them on four tracks.
Use PIP to place the four images (now fixed in size videos) into the
four corners of your new video. Since you are now simply dealing with
four standard size video clips, they will obediently go through their
motions without overlaping.
