official broadcast. I don't think there is as much pressure to see just
the first episode of BSG S3 as there was with the new Doctor Who which had
a much much longer hiatus. With the upcoming BSG season the first episode
is closely interwoven with the following three (the New Caprica story-arc)
so they are best viewed together.

Looking at it from a different angle a TV exec browsing through Usenet and
seeing a subject line this one must begin to wonder what the business model
of TV is going to look like in the not so distant future.
