Well, their explanations are awkward, but it looks like they want to be
a stock footage house and are looking for generic clips to sell to
people who can't or don't know how. They will also likely be sellling
their mailing and contacts list to telemarketers and spammers looking
for video-interested victims, pre-qualified in one handy spot. Another
stock footage house. Yippee.

There are already more legit setups that do this established. My wife
belongs to one: they hook up clients to artists of all types that bid
for the job. The site has sections for writers, animators, graphic
artists, etc. A client makes a listing something like an Ebay listing,
that lays out the specs for the job and perhaps a fee range. Registered
Member artists can bid for the job, showing an online portfolio of
what they can do. No matter who wins the bid, all subscribed members
who bid the job get a tiny percentage of the final price, supervised by
the site's owners. It seems to work well. Check out
