The $1000 question is whether or not you are willing to spend
$1000 to experience that difference? That's not even getting into the
issues of whether or not everything that needs to go into that
superior experience (including perhaps some more rather expensive
new hardware) have all put themselves into alignment.

I can get TWO regular progressive scan DVD players for just
the cost of a CABLE to connect an expensive HD dvd player to an
expensive HD TV that can fully exploit each other.
