Major hole in your timeline here. DVD-A/SACD failed to kill CD. As far
as audio formats goes, the train has stopped at CDs. The same could very
likely apply to DVDs for the video world.

Haha. So using this argument, Blu-Ray/HD-DVD won't finish off DVD until
another format comes along to replace Blu-Ray or HD-DVD! That's great
